Food Ordering System Implementation Project
Overview:
The attached documents below are the first four pages of a training manual I composed and illustrated using Canva. I created this how-to guide as an IT Business Analyst and Technical Writer for MTBF Consulting.
Goal:
The primary objective of this app integration was to increase scope of business by reducing labor cost involved as well as enhance user experience. The application will enable Starbucks users to navigate the online menu and streamline the ordering process. Customers will be able to select one or more items to add to order, which will the be moved to their cart. They are also able to view and edit their order prior to checking out, and will receive a confirmation email after placing it.
Restaurant employees also benefit from this implementation, as they are better able to navigate the order using the graphical interface, leading to improved efficiency in processing the order. This interactive system will provide the user with an up to date menu with all available options in an easy-to-use setup.
Result:
l created the following training manual to aid MTBF development team members in the configuration stage of implementing the food ordering system application using ServiceNow. This document is intended to be a step-by-step guide that is consistent and clear for anyone to follow, even if they have very minimal knowledge about ServiceNow. I kept the instructions concise so that the configuring tasks could be well-interpreted.
